Our Client is looking for a Data Analyst to join their growing team.

Job Description
The Data Analyst will support the company’s agenda as a member of the Data Services Team delivering quality assurance across our journey to enhance our Clinical Trial Cost Management insights.
The Data Analyst will assist in creating relevant profiling, data quality KPI tracking, data mapping and data verification/reconciliation solutions enabling the analysis team to successfully perform the data enhancement role. The role owner will therefore closely collaborate with the various data colleagues assigned to the project while utilising best practice Data Service capabilities, solutions, and processes.

To be successful candidates will need to have strong experience in developing tailored KPI tracking, profiling, mapping, and reconciliation solutions. Technical skills in Alteryx, SQL, Access, Excel, and Python will be beneficial. In addition, good experience of data analysis, mapping and transformation is essential. Further, great attention to detail, work in a highly organised & structured manner paired with good collaboration skills and the ability to work against tight deadlines is important to the role.

Key Accountabilities
Key accountabilities are to create relevant profiling, data quality KPI tracking, data mapping and data verification/reconciliation solutions enabling the analysis team to successfully perform the data enhancement role while also owning the execution of verifications and reconciliations of CTCM information. The role owner will therefore cover the following:
• Design, build and execute appropriate profiling and analysis solutions supporting the business analysis team.
• Establish profiling capability & profile source data in-line with to-be data demands.
• Liaise with Design / Business SME and technical teams on results and gain clarifications on questions & identify possible Cleanse gaps.
• Design, build and execute Data Quality KPIs reporting.
• Agree Data Quality reporting KPI Metrics to validate the Data, its sources and correctness of Data usage.
• Build Relevant KPI Dashboards and ongoing quality tracking mechanism.
• Execute KPI reports on a regular basis and provide to relevant data colleagues for further action.
• Design and build an automated mapping solution.
• Build mapping capability which creates automated mappings based on set rules.
• Establish a solution, which creates mapping collection reports per study lead, integrates workflows managing the information/report collections to migrate back into a master mapping file.
• Create key validation mechanisms to prove mapping completeness and quality.
• Design, Build and execute data verifications and reconciliation proving successful data migration while enabling successful change management through the provision of relevant reconciliations reports supporting the change impact articulation/documentation.
• Understand existing Logical/Physical Model and Verification Requirements
• Create Data Testing environment and build necessary workflows to source relevant data.
• Build robust verification solution and reports.
• Execute comprehensive testing of the solution and support SIT and UAT proving expected and actual results are within relevant parameters.
• Liaise with business and project stakeholders to gain agreement at all stages, where relevant
• Support ongoing quality assurance capability build for mappings and transformation.

Essential
• Data Analysis experience of +3 years
• Extensive Data Profiling experience
• Extensive experience of creating complex data mappings and transformations
• Proven track record in establishing robust data verifications and reconciliations.
• Strong data solution development skills especially in Alteryx, SQL, Access, Excel and Python, Power BI
• Experience of building data integrity checks as well data quality checks
• Highly analytical with strong attention to detail & problem-solving attitude
• Ability to present complex data context in a concise way to stakeholders on all levels of the organisation.
• MS Access / Excel / PowerPoint- High Proficiency
Desirable
• Finance accounting degree
• Expert knowledge of Alteryx or Talend workflows
• Experience of working in a global organisation with complex/geographical context
• Experience of data cleansing and data migration
• Experience of data storytelling
• Excellent Stakeholder management and influencing skills.
